2.3.2024·Empire State Realty trust is a stock that I have followed for a few years. They partly own a number of properties in Manhattan and partly a number of properties outside New York. The crown jewel is the Empire State Building, which may be one of the world's most famous properties, but I wonder if it could also be one of the world's most profitable properties? Because on the ground floor there are shops, gyms, bars and restaurants, then there is a gigantic office building and at the top is one of the world's most popular tourist destinations. The viewing platform. It is visited every year by approximately 4 million visitors. An adult pays $44 per ticket. Children pay $38 and a senior citizen pays $42. The nice thing is that the viewing platform, the elevators and the entrance on the street level are newly renovated. So I think it is interesting to be part owner of this property for many years to come. The cash flow annually must be gigantic.- 9.2.2024·Why do I find this company exciting? They own properties in one of the world's hottest real estate markets - Manhattan. Plus they run and own the Empire State Building. 4 million people visit ESB every year - admission costs $40. That's $160 million in revenue each year. Add all the rent that shops and offices give to ESRT. I wonder if ESB isn't one of the properties in the world that generates the most revenue every year... that's why I bought into ESRT ;)
