·30.12.2025I am skeptical of this as an energy case. As of today, the company only has approx. 100 kW of total, operational and grid-connected capacity. With a realistic capacity factor for wave power, this yields in the order of around 0.1 GWh/year, i.e., less than an ordinary micro hydropower plant, which in Norway can be built privately in a stream. When there is talk of a «400 MW pipeline», this must be translated into actual energy production. With realistic assumptions, this yields a few hundred GWh per year. In practice, it requires a great many small, regulatory demanding locations to reach volume. For me, the main problem is very low energy density and high cost per produced kWh. ·10.11.2025Investment houses and analysts in January easily viewed the stock as being able to reach 15 dollars within a year, but then Trump came to power in the USA. Trump is against green transition and that influences stocks like this one. I still believe in the company/concept and they are doing a good job with pilot projects in several places around the world, as well as securing financing for them (with the possibility to expand and gain stable income) However, there are many other places one can invest with a greater guarantee of positive returns right now. As soon as Trump is out, I believe that green transition will be significantly stronger. It doesn't take much for a positive trend to double a stock like this, as it is heavily undervalued. One thing that Eco wave, however, should work hard on, is to reduce the price of the product, and that's not so easy when relying on local labor. If they land a contract or two, which are not pilot projects, then this will be a really good investment. If not, we will probably see the stock lose value. Pilot projects are "proof of concept" which creates visibility and financial stability, but they need it to lead to contracts that can provide a steady cash flow.

I can see this stock dropping to 4-6 dollars if no contracts are secured within the next year, but if they get some contracts in place that are not pilot projects, I can also see them rising to 37- 60 dollars within approx 5 years. It is very difficult to estimate a stock's potential before they have properly established themselves in the market. This stock is very vulnerable to the geopolitics being pursued and Trump was almost the worst thing that could happen for the green transition. For me, this stock is a gamble with high risk, but with a significant upside if they break through. I am personally invested in the stock, with a max of 5% of my total portfolio. I am happy to allocate 5% of my investment to stocks with a relatively large up/down side. One should decide for oneself how large a risk profile one wants to have and still be able to sleep well at night.
