- ·16 t sittenThe stock is, however, extremely shorted, around 30% of free-flow, so the risk is very high. Should positive news emerge, there is a possibility of a short squeeze, which would lead to a temporary strong price surge as the short sellers would be forced to close their positions.
- ·16 t sittenThe cooperation with Saudi Arabia is actually the single most important factor that can force the USA to act faster. Here's why the "corridor talk" is so intense right now: The Saudi countermove (the TQB agreement) Critical Metals has entered into a 50/50 Joint Venture with the Saudi company Tanbreez Quality Board (TQB). Investment: Saudi Arabia plans to invest up to 1.5 billion USD to build a huge processing plant in Saudi Arabia that will process the raw material from Greenland. Strategic position: Through this, Saudi Arabia gains control over a large part of the processing, making them a key player in the global supply chain for rare earth metals. Why this stresses the USA This creates a situation called "geopolitical tug-of-war": Who should own the processing? The USA is reluctant to see critical minerals from a "Western" mine in Greenland shipped to the Middle East for processing. They want the processing in the USA (e.g., at Ucore or MP Materials). Influence: If Saudi Arabia becomes the main financier, they also gain the greatest influence over where the metals are sent. To balance this, the USA will likely "have to" match or exceed the Saudi commitment by becoming a co-owner themselves. The China card: Saudi Arabia has good relations with China. The USA sees a risk that Chinese technology or capital could seep into the Saudi project, which would be a nightmare scenario for the Pentagon, which plans to use Tanbreez material in its weapon systems. What this means for the stock (CRML) Bidding war for influence: The market speculates that the US government will use its "Project Vault" to buy a significant stake in CRML to ensure they have the final say in strategic decisions, rather than handing over the entire playing field to Saudi Arabia. Valuation support: The Saudi capital provides the company with a "cash guarantee" that means they are not desperate for money, which forces the USA to offer good terms if they want to become co-owners. In summary: Saudi Arabia's entry has made CRML a pawn in a geopolitical game. The more Saudi Arabia invests, the more Washington is pressured to present a concrete offer of co-ownership to avoid losing control over Greenland's assets.
- ·16 t sittenI have followed this company for a while and bought in at an average around 11 dollars. I think it's important to have some patience and hold onto the shares, possibly top up a bit more. The company is preparing and working to get all requirements in place and "de-risking" by getting its pilot plant in Greenland started in May. After that, we will hopefully see a similar deal made as with USAR. What strongly speaks for it are the very positive drilling results as well as the cooperation with Saudi Arabia.
- ·2 päivää sittenIs it a government deal that will send us back towards 20 ?? .. or do we see other opportunities for success·2 päivää sittenJust anything that can turn the downturn around. 😄 I jumped out without a parachute at the turn of the year.
- ·10.4. · MuokattuAm I the only one holding and watching the earnings report next week? ... Looks like everyone is selling again before the weekend.... I think there is a big reward for those who have nerves of steel.
