·25.10.2024 · MuokattuPlease help me understand what is happening with this stock. The company has a history of profitability but incurred excessive costs just as the market climate became tougher. To address this, the company has implemented a cost-cutting program and has proven that it is once again achieving profitability. According to my estimates (at rates around SEK 8), the company is valued at EV/EBIT 9.5 for 2024E. Using very conservative assumptions, I see an opportunity for this to drop to EV/EBIT 7.6 by 2025E and EV/EBIT 5.7 by 2026E, even with squeezed margins in a continued negative market. If we were to instead assume a more positive market development, where the company reaches margins in line with its own guidance, an EV/EBIT multiple of 3.5 for 2026E is not unrealistic. This makes me see the company as one of the few clearly undervalued options on an otherwise generally expensive stock market. I understand that liquidity is a challenge, and that the market does not always have the patience for this type of adjustment. But looking at the fundamental values and the company's long-term potential, what are your main reasons why you still choose not to invest in Avensia?
