·3 t sittenDoes anyone have a clue why you don't see any Volvos as taxis in Stockholm anymore. There are some old V40s but soon Volvo will be extinct as a taxi in Sweden's capital. Why???
Taxi Stockholm has a requirement for pure electric cars, does not approve electric hybrids since 2024. Here was another compilation: Toyota: The absolute most common brand overall in the taxi industry. Models like Toyota RAV4 and Toyota Camry (hybrids) are extremely popular among independent operators and Cabonline-affiliated (e.g., TaxiKurir and Sverigetaxi).Tesla: By far the most common fully electric alternative. Tesla Model Y and Model 3 have become standard cars for both traditional companies and app services like Bolt and Uber thanks to good range and a well-developed charging network.Mercedes-Benz: The brand's premium favorite. Mercedes E-Class (and now the electric EQE) are very common for standard and business travel. Mercedes V-Class and EQV dominate the segment for large cars and premium shuttles.Skoda & Volkswagen: Skoda Enyaq and Volkswagen ID.4 / ID.7 are very popular in the mid-range segment thanks to good interior space and good economy.
·3 t sittenI believe that the market's lack of confidence in Volvo Cars right now is significantly more about sales, profitability, and business model than about the cars' safety. Q2 was weak with low margins and negative cash flow, and sales need to turn around. At the same time, there are positive things to focus on, including the EX60, cost savings, and Volvo's new product plan. But until the market sees clear improvements in sales, margins, and cash flow, I believe the stock may continue to languish at current levels. It will likely take a few clear positive reports before confidence truly returns and the stock can seriously start to turn upwards.
