But now something fundamental is happening in the industry ahead of 6G that completely changes the game: - FR3 (cmWave, 7–24 GHz) is being added, which will be the new focus for 6G. For this to work in a mobile device, digital beamforming is required, precisely what Beammwave is building. - ISAC (Radar + Communication): In 6G, the network will not only send data, it will "see" the environment (sensing). Conclusion: Looking at the proposals in 3GPP RAN1, one sees that the industry's wish list now matches Beammwave's design almost point for point. The criticism of "no market" is starting to look quite thin as the entire 6G train is now switching onto Beammwave's track.
