·9.11.To those of you invested in this company. Do you know how big legal problems Roblox is in? How big a constant risk there is for the stock price to fall 15-20%, if not more? The risk I'm talking about is what happened in August. Roblox banned one of the actors who saves hundreds of Roblox' players, who are children, from being groomed and many times eventually kidnapped and v*ldta*et by p*dofi*er. Because they banned him (Schlep, as he calls himself on youtube) it triggered terrible news coverage and extreme stock price drops, from peak on 140 USD to a bottom of around 110 USD, all within barely a week. Hundreds of lawsuits claiming that parents' children are not protected in any way on the Roblox platform, are all waiting to be shown to the public. Roblox could lose hundreds of millions of dollars because they are cutting corners on moderation of their platform. Further stock price drops are absolutely not impossible, and almost expected, if they don't improve their moderation. Governments around the world can ban Roblox from being available to their largest target group, the children of the world, because the platform is not safe for them.

Investors want an increase in revenue and earnings, so risks in, for example, media or internal publicity on their platform are not discussed, and the Roblox board knows exactly this. If they open up, the stock price WILL fall significantly. Something as serious as a company of Roblox's size being accused of ignoring, or perhaps directly supporting, something as ugly and insane as p*do*lia, will tear the company and its market value to the ground. Honestly, I almost understand why they don't open up and fix the problem. If they did, investors would realize that management is not reliable and has lied about an extremely risky problem. In the short term, such announcements will have enormous consequences for the market value, but ethically, it is absolutely what is necessary and unavoidable. Roblox will probably be able to steer clear of such an announcement by using more resources on moderation, but keeping it internal. Hopefully, they will do this, just so my little sister is no longer in the danger zone.
