·5 min sittenIt has been going on for years. Thousands of lawsuits from concerned adults and even the US government. Unfortunately, it does not have a significant effect on the Roblox stock, because Roblox is incredibly good at hiding most informants about this very topic. Hiding it from investors, sweeping the problem under the rug and lying about how serious the problem really is. Last week I saw that the Indonesian government will ban Roblox from being used by children under 16. That is many millions of users being removed from the platform. All because the Indonesian government has categorized Roblox as a "High-risk platform". I agree. The EU might as well do exactly the same, and the UK already has an "online-safety act" that can incorporate Roblox into the collection of websites and apps that are forbidden for use by children and young people. It hasn't happened yet, of course, but it could easily happen. The moderation problems are the core problem in these cases. The reason why Roblox is not as safe a place as investors and parents are told it is.·3 min sittenOf course, the price has fallen from 140 usd, which is probably affected by a more fundamental uncertainty on the matter. So it has had no effect whatsoever. However, it is not price-collapsing, where the price collapses due to the major lawsuits, costs, prohibitions, etc.
·1.3.Roblox is a complex company with great potential, especially within advertising. My friend and I have made an analysis of the stock, where we discuss the potential, risks, and valuation of the stock. But Q4 proved that it has not affected as much as some thought. At the same time, I expect that they will sort things out with Egypt, they already have conversations about it.
·2.2.Do you see Google’s Genie as a real threat to Roblox? Why/why not?
·4.2.Developing games on Roblox myself as a hobby right now. I don't see it as a threat to Roblox that Google's Genie is so good. There are many things when it comes to making games that it cannot figure out. AI in computer games will probably only really be a thing in 5-10 years. That's my guess. It could well take longer.
