- 21.10.·Dlaboratory Sweden AB (publ) (“dLab” or the “Company”) has, in collaboration with Techinova AB (“Techinova”), received an order for the delivery of the new network substation solution dSense to one of Sweden’s largest electricity grid companies. Techinova is a Swedish supplier of technology solutions for the energy industry and acted as the procured party in the transaction. The order, which is part of Techinova’s award in the procurement, includes at least 400 units, with an option for an additional 350 units, and corresponds to an initial order value of approximately SEK 1.2 million for dLab, which is expected to be recognized as revenue in H1 2026. The order marks another step in the rollout of dSense and strengthens dLab’s position in the market for digital electricity grid monitoring. Unlike previous dSense deals, this delivery is based on a one-off license revenue for basic functionality, which complements the Company’s recurring license revenue. By offering a flexible sales model, dLab can meet the needs of different customers while accelerating the spread of the technology in line with the digitalization of electricity grid companies. At the same time, the customer has the opportunity to connect these devices to dLab’s analysis platform in the future, which enables potential future ongoing license income. dSense complements dLab’s existing monitoring in distribution stations and enables electricity grid owners to collect and analyze data further out in the electricity grid. The solution provides improved visibility into the state of the grid and supports more proactive maintenance work – with the goal of reducing outage times, streamlining operations and increasing availability in the electricity grids.
- 3.10.·Dlaboratory Sweden AB (publ) ("dLab" or the "Company") announces that the Company, together with a partner, has developed a new monitoring solution for grid stations -- dSense. The new solution broadens the Company's offering within grid monitoring and makes it possible to collect and analyze data further into the grid than before. The first customer, Affärsverken Karlskrona AB ("Affärsverken"), has signed an agreement to implement dSense throughout its entire grid from November 2025. The agreement corresponds to an annual recurring value (ARR) of SEK 240,000 and covers all 200 grid stations within Affärsverken's network. The launch creates significant market potential going forward, in line with the increasing digitalization of the grid. dSense complements dLab's existing monitoring in distribution stations and enables grid owners to gain comprehensive insight into the state of the grid -- from the central nodes of the regional grid all the way out to the most peripheral parts of the local grid. By adding monitoring also at the grid station level, the ability to identify deviations early, optimize operation and prevent outages is strengthened; which ultimately contributes to a more robust and efficient electricity grid. The first version of dSense is integrated with the dAnalyzer application, which analyzes collected data and converts it into data-driven insight and decision support for planning, operation and development. In the long term, dLab's other applications will also be available at the grid station level, gradually creating an increasingly complete overall solution for electricity grid monitoring.
- 9.5.·Swedish Energy Prize awards dLab the Industry and Visitors' Choice award Dlaboratory Sweden AB (publ) has been awarded the Industry and Visitors' Choice award at the Swedish Energy Prize 2025. The award was presented during Elfack, the Nordic region's leading trade fair for electricity and energy, and recognizes companies that contribute significant efforts to a more sustainable and innovative energy industry. The Swedish Energy Prize is awarded to recognize groundbreaking achievements in the electricity and energy sector. The award aims to promote innovation, stimulate collaboration and increase the pace of the green transition. A total of three awards are presented: the Jury's Choice of the Swedish Energy Prize, the Industry and Visitors' Choice and the Jury's Honorable Mention. “Being voted for by both industry colleagues and trade fair visitors is a huge honor. It shows that our work to create smart solutions for the electricity grid of the future is appreciated by those who actually use the technology. It inspires us to continue driving development forward,” says Rickard Jacobsson, CEO of dLab. The visitors’ award was awarded to dLab, where the company’s platform for digitalizing the electricity grid was highlighted. The solution, which is based on patented algorithms and a database with over three million registered electricity grid disturbances, helps reduce outages, simplify troubleshooting and lower operating costs. It gives electricity grid owners valuable insights into distribution and makes it possible to solve problems faster with the help of relevant and available data.
- 10.4.·dLab is a finalist for the Swedish Energy Prize Dlaboratory Sweden AB (publ) is one of the finalists for the Swedish Energy Prize and is thus one of nine companies that have the opportunity to win one of several awards. The Swedish Energy Prize is established by the Swedish Exhibition and Congress and recognizes companies and organizations that have distinguished themselves with groundbreaking solutions in the electricity and energy industry. The Swedish Energy Prize aims to promote innovation, stimulate collaboration and increase the pace of change. “We are honored to be one of the finalists for the Swedish Energy Prize and see it as a clear recognition of our hard work to drive innovation in the electricity and energy industry. Our ambition has always been to contribute to a more sustainable and efficient use of energy – and this nomination inspires us even more to continue developing the technology that the electricity grid of the future needs,” comments dLab CEO Rickard Jacobsson. The winners will be presented at Elfack, the Nordic region's leading trade fair for electricity and energy, on May 8, 2025. The companies have been selected by an expert and independent jury based on given criteria, including that each contribution must be innovative and offer a unique solution for the electricity and energy area that contributes to more efficient or more sustainable energy use. The awards that are presented are the Jury's Choice of the Swedish Energy Prize, the Industry and Visitors' Choice of the Swedish Energy Prize and the Jury's Honorable Mention, which is presented when it is considered justified.
