- ·11 t sitten · MuokattuHi panel: I think that the product itself "batteries for electric cars etc." is something that many are involved in. Can one imagine that they could be overtaken before they even get started? Or is the product so competitive that it's nothing to worry about? What do you think? There are already some manufacturers who have slowly started producing High performance batteries (which I choose to call them) as SSB, as far as I know, is not very clearly defined. For example, Marcedes has started so-called mass production of SSBs over the coming years. QS, however, has several advantages in my view: 1: They have a top product. Especially regarding safety, the product is good. It also doesn't require special charging stations to charge quickly (as seen with BYD's batteries, for example). 2: According to point 1, their battery is also very attractive in many other markets. The military industry, data centers, medical equipment, etc. 3: They sell their technology and not their batteries. Granted, they currently have a battery product. But it is their technology they must sell, that is what must drive the business, and that is what I see as a future advantage because the company is a low asset company. This does, however, require people to want to buy the technology, which will probably come. 4: The product is not dependent on Chinese graphite, which can be a great geopolitical advantage. For example, Ford has just been criticized in the USA for choosing a Chinese battery manufacturer, so there is a focus on this. The biggest challenge currently is that they must be able to show that the product is scalable. The goal is to double production in the last half of 2026. This is to show that the product can be mass-produced. At the same time, their so-called eagle line must be incredibly agile so that it can adapt to the different customers' needs. If they crack this code, it will be really, really good. But it's still unknown. I hope Panasonic will be revealed as a new partner in 2026 👍
- 2.9.[BERLIN] The Volkswagen Group is expected to sell only 8.5 million cars worldwide in the current year, German business outlet WirtschaftsWoche reported on Tuesday (Sep 1), citing a supervisory board document. The German carmaker, whose supervisory board is set to meet on Friday, is also planning extensive divestments of business units, according to WirtschaftWoche. The document mentions the sale or a stake reduction in holdings including Ducati, Traton, Gotion, QuantumScape and SGL Carbon, according to WirtschaftsWoche. REUTERS
- ·20.8.Tariffs - is QS or will QS be affected by the tariffs that Trump imposes on producers who do not produce in the USA regarding drones and items used in connection with drones. Here I'm thinking about batteries?
- ·12.8.Is there news coming? J.P. Morgan 2026 Automotive Conference + Presentation at SSB event in Chicago + Deutsche Bank Chicago Industrials Summit. All on 12 August19.8.Or you can consider, all the news they have given and why there is no news they failed. Next bounce will be massive sales. There will be some news to make quick bounce to 7-8usd until this goes to 0. Waiting for that moment and I'm out
