1 päivä sitten[BERLIN] The Volkswagen Group is expected to sell only 8.5 million cars worldwide in the current year, German business outlet WirtschaftsWoche reported on Tuesday (Sep 1), citing a supervisory board document. The German carmaker, whose supervisory board is set to meet on Friday, is also planning extensive divestments of business units, according to WirtschaftWoche. The document mentions the sale or a stake reduction in holdings including Ducati, Traton, Gotion, QuantumScape and SGL Carbon, according to WirtschaftsWoche. REUTERS
If VW withdraws from QS, then it's an uphill battle. I wouldn't, however, be able to see the logic behind doing this. Unless one is 100% sure that QS cannot succeed (which would be strange since the contract has just been renewed). But one also separates cooperation and ownership stake, right? I don't quite have a handle on what a smaller ownership stake means for the cooperation, if it means anything at all. I remain very bullish on QS.
·20.8.Tariffs - is QS or will QS be affected by the tariffs that Trump imposes on producers who do not produce in the USA regarding drones and items used in connection with drones.
