·21.10.Thought the interview with the CEO on di-tv was interesting and good. Starlink, which has 70% of their exact market, is not a direct competitor but a complement! Elon can steer these satellites however he wants, whenever he wants. Ovzon's system is unique with receivers that receive encrypted signals which also makes the frequency itself very difficult to "jamma" (jam). If a country decides to send up its own geostationary satellite, it takes at least 3 years - here there are opportunities for Ovzon to sell more, especially in Europe. Ovzon has supported Ukraine since the invasion, but due to confidentiality he could not specify more than that. This is a Swedish company, in a war-threatened Europe that is arming to the teeth right now. One foot is already in Germany now so let's hope that the EU sees opportunities with Ovzon3, floating 36000 km above us..
I agree, very good webinar (I assume we listened to the same one, even though I watched it on Youtube). Interesting that the CEO highlighted the possibility of getting the next satellite in place together with a suitable key customer, something I have suggested here previously. But the core comment in my opinion was still the realization that even though quarters are important, years are even more important. Quarter-popcorn investors should invest in something else. Here we are building a new market. It takes time.
·21.10.What I am wondering most about right now is why one puts energy into a company that one obviously is not interested in. I guess that Ovzon will always be a topic of discussion. Much of the negotiation of deals is most likely ongoing in secret when it concerns military use. In other words, there is a lot of guessing here.
I suppose no one puts energy into Ovzon that they are not interested in. Fortunately, in my opinion, we are not affected by that in this forum.
