    I work for a Vitec company that was acquired several years ago. I have been part of both upturns and a massive downturn this past year. Today I took the chance to re-enter, expect a good report on February 4th, and am eagerly watching when the short will start to be covered.

    I have made a decision today and am buying one percent in Vitec. The reasons for this are several. The biggest reason is that I use Vitec Next daily in my job and am impressed by their ability to develop and improve the products. I read through the latest annual report and have looked a bit at historical P/E. I have followed the stock for some months. Should it fall more, I might increase my position. I look forward to the report on February 06.

    Was it a dead cat bounce today when it rose 5%, does anyone know why the stock rose? It has fallen quite a bit, but the P/E is still around 28-29. Forward P/E is lower, but will the estimates be as good as they claim? I see that SEB has raised its rating to Buy today 09:34 - Could this have triggered the 5% increase?
