·11 t sittenTo those who have been holding Europrs for a while How is the stock price expected to fluctuate for this stock? Is it an interesting company but is the price a bit expensive? I calculated a nice PEGY (Used key figures from Nordnet and deducted a bit from the average price target, came to 1,1) rate, but my question is whether it is still a bit too highly priced compared to growth opportunities?
·7 t sittenThe positive thing about Europris is that they are known for low prices. No matter what the economy is like, people will still shop there. Especially in times of unrest, high interest rates and a weaker economy, this type of store can actually do quite well, if not better. I don't think the stock will fall very much, but at the same time I doubt it will rise extremely either. It seems quite stable, which one can also see historically. Short-term, I think it could fall towards the 85kr area, but long-term I envision it moving up towards 100kr.
·3 päivää sittenI am considering adding Europris to my portfolio but am unsure how much what is happening in Sweden will affect the company. Does anyone know? Europris will do well in Norway now with interest rate hikes and people looking for cheaper goods. But what if they fail in Sweden? If they succeed, it will of course be a real boost. Does anyone know how the Swedes have received them so far? Are the Swedes aware and rather choose their own Jula/Clas Ohlson etc. or do they find something new exciting? Do they even know that it's Norwegian and not something else European at all?
·3 päivää sittenEuropris is one of my largest positions. They pay good dividends and deliver stable operations here at home. When you say Europris in Sweden, I assume you are referring to Överskottsbolaget, Öob? Europris took over here some years ago but still operates under a Swedish brand name. I won't speculate if Swedes reflect much on this, by comparison, I care little that XXL is owned by some Englishmen when I rush in to buy new sports equipment.. What's a bit of the case with Europris is to what extent they manage to make Öob profitable on par with the stores here in Norway. It takes time and costs money to convert the remaining 70+ stores. Higher capex = lower free cash flow. If I remember correctly, the pilot stores have delivered quite strong numbers, which is positive if that trend continues. Regarding the high cost of living, Europris, as you say, is well-positioned to attract price-conscious Norwegians to the stores with campaigns on most things.·2 päivää sittenThanks for the good answer and the time spent.
