·1 päivä sittenCan someone explain to me why we are not seeing a more upward trend? Philip Gunst comes with one good piece of news after another; news that points towards a (soon-to-be?) agreement. And yet the market reacts negatively most days.
·1 päivä sittenShareholders losing patience. The cry of "wolf" has been heard many times, but management has not managed to announce a single bid after many years of effort to sell. Management's credibility is by now worn thin. Philip Gunst has been delivering good news for years and indications of an imminent deal. Now it's over 6 months since Colonial reported a material change report about accelerating negotiations.. but nothing has happened. No updates from management. It could well be that we are close, and that they are about to finalize a deal behind the scenes but it's hard to know. I am holding my position for now.. but I have 100% understanding that some throw in the towel and move on to something else.·13 t sittenI am also optimistic regarding a bid this year. Which is also the reason why I still hold the position. My guess is that something politically related is missing, which is often time-consuming. But if management is not able to announce a single bid 12 months after material change report (i.e. end 2026) then in my eyes something is wrong. Management needs to deliver something very soon.
·17.4.Unfortunately, I've got the feeling that we are heading towards 1.5 CAD again. I'm getting off here and wish you patient souls good luck 🤞
·22.4. · MuokattuWhen an eventual bid comes is pure speculation when we don't have insight into the sales process. If it comes to 1.5 again (I don't believe in that) then I will definitely buy significantly more of the stock
·22.4.No one has said when a potential bid will come. But guessing/speculating is not forbidden. However, some seem to prefer a dead forum.
