·2 t sittenWell, Sweden has probably put its recession behind it by now. GDP growth is predicted to accelerate up to approx. 2.5-3 (significantly stronger now) = interest rate on hold as inflation is now stable (<2%) I probably have approx. 40% invested in deep-value stocks. And SEK is considered a very undervalued currency (G10) = perfect in the search for companies that meet my deep-value criteria. And then Germany has launched a historic investment package (850 billion euros) over five years (defense and infrastructure) = good for heavy Swedish industrial companies. And not least, the war will hopefully soon be history = reconstruction will be a gigantic growth engine for Northern Europe. Swedish companies (like Volvo, Skanska and ABB......). If the dollar weakens = capital seeks cyclical currencies like SEK, it is said. And when global sentiment is positive, SEK typically performs better. Source: the internet. Fair winds with Investor AB as captain, ensuring that the ship does not leave Nordic waters :-)
·2 päivää sittenThe report before the weekend thus showed that Investor has beaten the market for 15 years in a row: any ordinary fund manager would have been envious. But the most remarkable thing is the ‘hit-rate’: 66% on listed shares (i.e., 10 out of 15 of Investor's ‘stock bets’ have beaten MSCI World’s +13%/year) over the last 10 years. o Also worth noting how low the 'turnover' in the portfolio has been: since 2017, it's mostly the same companies in the portfolio, while the net asset value in Investor has gone up 3x to SEK 1087 billion as of year-end.
