·28.10.2024Today's company is an update of the Duni group. Duni's business concept is to develop, manufacture and sell products for a more festive meal or party. One strives to do it in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way. The group today has two brands - Duni and Biopak, Biopak is an Australian brand for environmentally friendly meal packaging. Duni bought Biopak in 2018. (During December 2022, Duni sold 25 percent of Biopak for about the same as it was bought for but Biopak is still a subsidiary of Duni. Duni has two business areas: Duni Dining Solutions - Products and services for the table setting. Food Packagins Solutions - products and services for food packaging - the Biopak brand . Duni focuses primarily on the Nordic and European markets. But has, through an Australian acquisition, gained a smaller foothold in Asia as well. Duni economy: For the period January to September, Duni reported sales of SEK 5.52 billion and a profit of SEK 426 million. In 2023, the company reported revenues of 7.72 billion and a profit of 716 million. This year, I think the revenue will end up around the same and the profit will drop to SEK 650 million. Duni on the stock exchange. At the time of writing, October 28, the share stands at SEK 99.70. At its highest in 2023 and 2024, Duni has stood at just over 113 kroner and at its lowest at just over 99 kroner. The market value today is SEK 4.517 billion. The dividend policy is to distribute 40 percent of the profit. Last year, the dividend was SEK 5, which means a dividend yield of 5.20 percent. The P/E ratio on my forecast will be a low 6.94. My comment: Duni was first hit hard by the pandemic, and then the company has been pressured by high interest rates in the last year, which has meant that fewer people can afford to go to restaurants and buy packaged food... But personally, I believe that Duni can now be through the tunnel and that the company may be able to increase profits significantly in 2025. It also feels safe that Mellby farm is the main owner of Duni. The threat is, of course, that the bad times will continue and cause us to move into hotels and restaurant visits which can hit Duni hard. I have been following Duni for a long time now and today I bought my first shares in the company.- ·7.7.2024I believe in Duni very much going forward. Mellby farm knows what they are doing.
