There is also: Amundi Global Materials Xtrackers World Materials VanEck Rare Earth and Strategic Minerals BGF World Mining

I don't think I can spot it.- ·29.12.2023Some who have an idea why the mining sector (think vale bhp and rio tinto here) is trading at a PE of around 10. With an ROE of over 30. (Vale [36-87%] followed by BHP [27-67%] and Rio Tinto [33-53%]) and an AG that appears from the following: Vale 13.81 -> 27 -> 34.56 -> 21.28 2019 -> 2023. Rio Tinto 17.34 -> 18.57 -> 29.3 -> 19.97 2019 -> 2023. BHP 15.41 -> 20.16 -> 34.48 -> 20.47 2019-2023 From the annual reports, it does not seem as if the metal prices will drop significantly. Is it political risk (legislation/regulation and/or geopolitics)? Recession still priced in? (Why not buy mining companies?)
