It feels like the support has been tested around just under 10 euro and it seems to be holding quite well. Not infrequently, it is my experience that the price breaks upwards in due course soon. We'll see what happens but I'm loading up a bit now and then at these levels. With a possible dividend in the autumn, the stock is likely to pick up speed before then. But we'll see, I've been wrong before, so to speak 😄

No matter how you look at it, the latest decline is not justified to the extent it has gone. The company's future and operations benefit from the trend, while all companies should be concerned about the effects of AI. But I strongly doubt that a company like Verisure, with its services and products, does not have a growing need given how development looks in the world.

CEO's dividend flirt in the stock crash: "Pleasant surprise" Verisure's CEO Austin Lally dismisses the stock crash after the financial report by saying that markets can "react strangely". The home alarm chief prefers to talk about the future – where he sees extra dividends looming in the crystal ball. "That will be a pleasant surprise," he says. Published: February 12, 2026, 15:46 Share Save Adam Hillerbrand Rune Text Unmute Pause Fullscreen Ad 1 of 2 : (0:15) Increased revenues and a significant earnings boost for Verisure Verisure CEO Austin Lally. Verisure CEO Austin Lally.Photo: Joey Abrait Home alarm giant Verisure VSURE -13.34% made a successful debut on the Stockholm Stock Exchange last autumn after a much-discussed listing. But this year, the successes have stalled, and recently, as the market has been shaken by concerns about AI challengers, the stock has fallen sharply. On Thursday, the downward trend continued in connection with the company's financial report, and by the afternoon, the stock was down over 10 percent. The decline comes despite the company's figures for the last quarter of last year generally being somewhat better than analysts had expected, according to Factset. Revenue rose to 965 million euro, corresponding to a growth of 10.7 percent compared to the last quarter of 2024. Adjusted EBIT increased by 21 percent to 236 million euro, and the margin improved by 2 percentage points to 24.5 percent. CEO Austin Lally comments on the market's harsh judgment by saying that "as a CEO, one should not chase the stock price". "We have always been involved in long-term value creation, and we know that markets can react strangely and volatilely," says the home alarm chief. He states that he has no concerns that new AI players will threaten the company's business. On the contrary, he claims that the technology paves the way for further cost savings and improved services for Verisure. "Obviously, there are many questions in the market about AI in general and how the technology is disruptive. But in the end, one must go through company by company and business model by business model to make an assessment." With the report-related stock crash, Verisure is now trading at its lowest level ever and well below the subscription price from last autumn. What is your message to the 60,000 investors who invested in the listing? "Every investor makes their own decisions. But I hope they look past the short-term dip and focus on the long-term growth opportunities," says Austin Lally. These opportunities are clearly reflected in the financial report's forecast section, the CEO believes. There, Verisure expects a 10-percent increase in annual recurring revenues during 2026, that profitability will strengthen in line with the company's goals, and that a first dividend will be paid out to shareholders during the second half of the year. "That's exactly what we promised at the IPO," says Austin Lally. The upcoming dividend is expected to be at a level corresponding to 30 to 40 percent of the home alarm company's adjusted net income, is the message. Do you expect that range to change in the future? "I believe that will be the benchmark for the ordinary, semi-annual dividend. But if we create a model for future cash flow, we believe we will have room to return more to shareholders than that. Perhaps in the form of extra dividends or share buybacks. But that lies in the future." When is that future? "I don't think I should comment beyond 2026. That will be a pleasant surprise for you," says Austin Lally. What will take you to the goal of an operating margin of 30 percent? "Several different things. Firstly, we will continue to scale up. As our business grows, the proportion of our earnings that we need to spend on customer acquisition decreases," says the CEO. "Another important part is that we will continue our hard work on cost savings."
