The price target more than doubles from 2.8 dollars to six dollars per share. Borr Drilling expects that the company's shares will again be listed in Oslo, this time on Euronext Growth, December 19.

The acquisition will be financed through three sources: 150 million dollars in new bonds, 150 million dollars in vendor financing, and 85 million dollars in new equity. – This acquisition represents a compelling strategic and financial opportunity for Borr Drilling, says CEO Bruno Morand in the announcement. He believes the company is acquiring the rigs at an attractive price at a time when demand for jack-up rigs is showing signs of strengthening. They will also have an accretive effect on earnings (adjusted EBITDA) and reduce debt per rig, according to the Borr CEO. The transaction is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2026. In a separate announcement, it is stated that Borr will raise 85 million dollars, over 860 million kroner, in an equity issue in connection with the transaction.
