If one believes this trend is going to be globalized, this is a market that is going to see a lot of growth globally now. Platforms like MyDrama have a model where you pay for each individual episode, and some consumers have spent up to 200$ a month on such short dramas. This is more than 6x more value than what Netflix charges for a monthly subscription. These people are outliers who spend extremely much, but here the potential for monthly usage is higher than with other services. There is no hard-cap or an "expensive" subscription that locks the price every month. With that said, Fox Corporation does not own MyDrama or any known platforms that launch these videos, they rather work towards the actual production of these short films. Of the price for each episode that is bought on these platforms, it is common with 10-40 percent commission to the production company. MyDrama gets the biggest piece of the cake here, but is also a privately traded company that I cannot invest in, therefore I see Fox as the best alternative in this early phase of the growing market. With the expertise of Kevin Hart within comedy and creation I believe that Fox can stand strong, and if they can develop a platform that resembles MyDrama, and take over the distribution in the US or other countries, then this can be a truly incredible opportunity. I have to see how things within the sector develop, and who jumps in and out of it. But in 3-5 or 10 years, then I believe these short films are going to be comparable in popularity as Netflix or TikTok. Who governs the market when that day comes, that is what I am trying to figure out now. Keep your eyes open, thanks for me.
