The share price drop is primarily due to Trump's tariff statements against the Nordics and headlines about NVIDIA and new chip solutions, but this does not change the underlying case. Demand in the datacenter business (DCT) is very strong, and Munters has secured large orders in Q4 of around 5–6 billion SEK which are not included in the Q3 figures, with deliveries in 2026–2028. These are mainly for American customers. The tariff risk is also exaggerated: Munters already has production in the USA, and what is still sent from Europe comes primarily from Italy, not the Nordics, until new chiller capacity in Virginia is operational in 2026. The NVIDIA news is about a changed cooling method, not a disappearance of cooling needs, and higher temperatures increase the need for systems in air, heat flow, and stable operation – core areas for Munters. Overall, this is more of a sentiment and timing problem than a structural problem, and the share price level around 165 SEK reflects fear and headlines rather than weaker fundamental conditions. I am buying more here.
