·15.1. · MuokattuUnfortunately, I guess we have to say that defense will probably be relevant for a long time..I don't have such good knowledge of BAE yet..if you ask me ? But it feels like what I have positioned myself in is a good choice..both exposure ( large) to USA and Europe.

British defense company BAE Systems, which has significant exposure to the US, rose by as much as 6.9 percent and led the sector's advance. According to Trump, US annual defense spending is to be increased by more than 50 percent to approximately 1,500 billion dollars by 2027, financed by tariff revenues. Leonardo, Rheinmetall, Saab and Renk also rise in the wake of the statement.
·8.1.I wonder if today's strong rise could be related to the orange man in the USA's directives from yesterday to the American defense industry, about stopping the payment of dividends and share buybacks, in order to expand and increase production instead.
·8.1.Yes, that can certainly be a trigger for an increase, but it doesn't really make sense when defense stocks rise like rockets based on various announcements, just as little as it makes sense for them to fall sharply when the word 'peace agreement' is merely mentioned. Don't get me wrong, I, if anyone, wish for peace in Ukraine and in Europe, just as I firmly believe that BAE is a solid company with good products, which DK, among others, has purchased. But having said that, a 77% increase in one year is on the very high side compared to the increase in the company's return, not least realistic expectations for future returns. It is and remains an industrial product, so we are forced to justify the values based on this.

·7.1.The question is not how far down it should go, but how far up.·8.1.That's probably the right question considering the company's quality. It usually pays off to speak with your wallet instead of asking stupid questions like I did😅 I didn't get any shares here, but I'm currently happy with my portfolio💪
