·1 päivä sittenFrom 2022 until now, eps has steadily fallen due to a weak housing market in USA. Nevertheless, the shares have risen in price. Doesn't make sense to me. Usually, when a company shows lower and lower eps several years in a row, the share price should follow. Here it clearly doesn't. See the same in Pultegroup. Look daily at news about the housing market in usa, where it is said that more price decreases are to be expected, and buyers are staying away awaiting either lower interest rates or lower prices. Now many states in usa have actually seen a decrease in prices, which will of course over time make it more interesting to buy. But that will create a lower margin for home builders unless building costs are lowered at the same time. I also know 2 people who work with home sales in USA, they tell me that the market is quote "shit"... But again, you don't see that in these share prices for the last 5 years, for example. In my eyes, the prices of these shares should have been lower.
