I am at least a satisfied shareholder: I bought a couple of tranches at 180-200 USD almost 5 years ago and have followed the stock ever since. They have their accounts in order and a strong balance sheet without being too expensively priced. They are impressively innovative: 1) They have by far the best medicine for the rare disease, cystic fibrosis (says one of my acquaintances who unfortunately is affected by it) 2) their breakthrough with the development and launch of their non-opioid pain-relieving medicine is fantastic. I probably don't understand why the stock price hasn't "taken off" because the use of opioids is a very big problem in the USA. 3) And as a curiosity: Novo Nordisk worked for many years on creating an artificial pancreas. I myself worked for many years at Novo Nordisk as a chemist, where I followed the development (until it was shut down), but they/we were overtaken by Vertex who got their medicine into phase 1. I haven't heard anything more about this for a long time now, but it tells me that they are very skilled and focused in their development work.
