Huomioi, että vaikka osakkeisiin säästäminen on pitkällä aikavälillä tuottanut hyvin, tulevasta tuotosta ei ole takeita. On olemassa riski, että et saa sijoittamiasi varoja takaisin.

Does anyone understand how this voting thing matters for us who own shares? If someone would like to explain, that would be nice 🫲

So, as a starting point, you have B-shares (you have at least written in the thread for B-shares) and B-shares have no voting rights. It is the A-shares that have voting rights. There are far fewer A-shares than B-shares. Therefore, A-shares are also not as liquid as B. The vast majority of trading is in B, so that is also the one you would normally buy. The only difference is, if you are looking for annual dividends and intend to hold the shares for a longer time, then A-shares are better. The dividend paid out is the same, and since the A-share is less liquid, it is also lower priced. Your percentage dividend will therefore be greater with an A-share. Hope that answers your question

Just for general information, shorts have fallen nicely over the last 5 trading days. From 4.79% (27/8) to 3.28% (3/9), thus a drop of 1.51 percentage points. In other words, some believe that it will not go down further.

Mr. Fisk, look at your own shares and consider if it's a good idea for you to advise others when things are so bad for yourself 👀

Impressive turnover in the closing auction today, primarily due to rebalancing of the MSCI and KAX CAP index. New attacks from both warring parties in the Middle East conflict probably also mean that more will exit Rockwool due to rising energy prices, unfortunately!...🤔/Jens

Yep @Snejda, there are also closed shorts today (0.31%), so we are now down to 2.25% The rebalancing is a bit complicated, as it depends on the structure/goals of the individual funds and indices. Furthermore, it also depends on how other shares move. If it's, for example, a fund that follows OMXC25, then it must constantly balance itself in relation to how these shares move in relation to each other. Other indices divide companies by size (economic). And then they must hold a certain quantity if they are in one size and another if they are in a different size. This was, among other things, what Novo was hit by when they fell, which amplified the fall. If, for example, you have an index that must own 10% in each of the largest pharmaceutical companies and you suddenly drop out of the top 10, then the shares are dumped. ... and that is often what after-market trading is used for.

Rockwool must of course hold on to their rights. When the pieces are eventually to be mended with the West, there's the question of frozen Russian assets. If the Russians want to see any of them, a bit will probably have to be thrown in for Ukrainian reconstruction and then a good amount for the companies that have been de facto annexed. To settle for the 5% that is offered as standard would be unserious.
