"THE NEVER ENDING STORY!!!" Bang & Olufsen marked its 100-year anniversary with bl.a. a large event at the Opera House. The celebration and related anniversary activities cost a total of 38 mio. kr., which contributed significantly to a weak quarter: EBIT margin before special items: -5.3% and a quarterly loss of 53 mio. kr. Revenue fell to 676 mio. kr. (from 698 mio. kr. the year before). Some of the figures were already known in connection with CEO Kristian Teär leaving the position with immediate effect, and it has since been highlighted that the board was dissatisfied with bl.a. the prioritization of the extensive anniversary celebration.

A big zero or worse, but the board will surely highlight the new director and in the future everything will get better, the board itself hides in the corner and are veritable prophets.

Gents…I think it should go down further than the 12 it closed at today. In Nordnet there is an eps estimate in 2027 of approx 1 kr, as there are 147 mill shares it is 147 mill AFTER tax. That will be tough ;) The 147 mill needs a discount rate of approx 7,5 pct to yield the current market cap. That is too low a rate for such a risky case. But it could become a beautiful turn around story further down the road for a nice old company.
