    Yep, it's probably much needed and comes after new leadership at the top. A problem has probably been that Larry and others in management have been there for so long and have close ties to many, which perhaps contributes to a difficult situation when one wants to make changes and definitely when one wants to reduce the number of employees.     Update from PAS: Elekta announced today that its Elekta Evo* CT-Linac has received FDA clearance. This is very important for Elekta as US customers have delayed purchasing of Elekta's products waiting for the Elekta Evo - will see Evo contributing to sales already this year. Meanwhile, the company is cutting 450 employees (approx. SEK 500m savings). All costs, restructuring and salaries, are taken now and will be out of the books by Q1 reporting, which will increase profitability. The Elekta Evo competitor, Varian, is far behind on its product and has not yet applied for FDA approval. Varian was bought by Siemens in 2020 at a 28x EBTIDA multiple. A 15x for Elekta on 3,7bn EBITDA ('27 cons) yields SEK 50bn equity value (SEK 136/sh). The new CEO bought shares in September for SEK 47m.
