If one now says that one has 100.000 kr, is it then best to put them all into an EFT or should one split one's money and put half into one and the rest into another.?

I would argue that a single investment solely in the S&P500 is not diversified enough, as about 50% of the index is weighted in Tech companies and Tech developing companies,, so if there is a Tech crash / bubble, one might as well have 50% of their entire investment in a Tech ETF. So, a spread into other markets would be better...for example, most European indexes are very finance heavy, South American ones are very consumer production heavy, etc....so by being in several markets, one is not only diversified globally and geographically, but also gets better diversification in terms of which areas one is invested in......and by buying individual ETFs for each market, one can adjust their exposure to the different areas and geo markets....an ACWI investment will always force one to 65-70% investment in the USA. It will of course be more expensive in terms of costs, as most ACWI ETFs are quite cheap and single market ETFs are a bit more expensive (maybe 0.07% versus 0.15%), but that's peanuts, unless you are investing several billions, and there are of course 3-4x brokerage fees compared to only buying a single ETF. If you are investing 500 kr a month spread across 3 ETFs, yes, then a rather large % of your return is lost in brokerage fees, but if you trade, for example, one ETF one month and next month the other ETF etc. Then the brokerage fee is the same as just buying 1 ACWI ETF every month.....

Hi, I'm relatively new to this stock market forum and have been recommended that iShares Core S&P 500 ETF USD Acc is a relatively safe stock when we talk about an investment period of 5-10 years and that ETF`er are a good investment - does anyone have an opinion if this is completely off?

Hi everyone. I'm writing because I need some inspiration. Not many of my friends and acquaintances invest (big surprise - I'm a woman). I've been at it for a year and a half now and have invested in various ETFs, including information technology, Cyber security, Nordnet One Offensiv and ofc this one - which has proven to be wise. In addition, I also have shares in Ørsted and Novo Nordisk. I bought extra NN shares when the price dropped the other day - I invest for long-term gain.... Well... now to my point. What are you focusing on right now? I'm curious in these crazy times. I don't want to invest in war and weapons (I know that my ETFs might contain companies that deal with that, but let's leave that aside). I'm curious about what you're focusing on right now? I want to invest more in the ETFs I already have, but my assessment is that it's too late? Let me know - I'm curious about all your thoughts

Maybe check out JABIL. Bought it for my son almost 3 years ago and it has risen 100% every year. I will hold it for another five years - not many people talk about it here at home. But otherwise, you're well on your way when you start with ETFs like this one.

What is the reason that the fund and S&P were moving in opposite directions around 2 PM yesterday?

    ·
That sounds like a good explanation. Thanks

I've wondered a lot why people don't talk more about Amundi Core Nasdaq-100 UCITS ETF Acc (ANSD)? It's probably cheaper and it's not synthetic, and does it have a cheap entry point for buying per share? Is there a smart person who can perhaps tell me if there's something I'm overlooking here? The same applies to: Amundi Core S&P 500 UCITS ETF Acc (CSP5): I don't think anyone talks about or mentions these ETFs?
